⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (10/10) We were in the sauna today with 10 guys – simply fantastic! A truly relaxed atmosphere, super clean, and everything perfectly organized. We had a fantastic time, were able to completely unwind and have fun. Highly recommended – 10/10, we'll definitely be back!

Fantastic campsite with electrical hookups, on-site sauna, dogs welcome, sanitary facilities under construction, restaurant open from 5 pm (very tasty food), beautiful hiking and cycling trails, very friendly owners, we'll be back!

We go to the Russian banya in Birkenfeld several times a year. They have small, medium, and large saunas available for rent. It's always very clean and a great place to relax. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The food is incredibly delicious, especially the shashlik platter, which is my personal favorite. We usually also order salads, cheese, sausage, and bread. That way, something delicious is already waiting for us when we arrive. Each sauna also has its own hot tub. If you want it warm, you have to order it in advance; it's heated with wood, just like the saunas. If you're not familiar with the birch twigs that you can order in advance, you only need one or two in a bucket. That's enough to make the infusion and then gently rub yourself. It's typical of a Russian banya and smells really good. We'll be back again in a few weeks; I'm already looking forward to the banya and delicious shashlik.

Yesterday we went to the sauna and we really enjoyed it. Everything was clean and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Only one small thing was a bit confusing: There were two bottles of water in the sauna cabin, which we took to be a welcome gift. Later, however, we were charged €4.50 each for them, even though we hadn't ordered them. Otherwise, everything was great!
